Inspiration & education
Right back from my childhood I’ve always had a strong passion for art, film and photography. I love watching films for entertainment, but I’ve always been equally fascinated by the behind-the-scenes process as I am in what is happening on-screen.

This fascination was further explored by studying art and film at college – exploring the connections and inspirations between the mediums and learning about the technical aspects of photography and filmmaking.
A career within marketing and the media
Following on from college I set out on a 20 plus year career in marketing within the TV & film industry.
Working for one of the biggest product placement agencies, I worked on a wide range of productions from blockbuster movies to the nation's much loved soap operas, representing blue chip clients across a variety of sectors.

During this time I really learned the importance of context, and how visuals compliment and support the story.
Progression into photography and the events industry
​Transitioning into a freelance role in the event industry allowed me to really explore photography extensively, expand my network across various sectors, work with amazing people at the best venues in the UK and further afield.

I enjoy all genres within photography, but what I also really value in my profession is the interaction with clients to collaborate and deliver photography that aligns with their requirements and meets the brief.
